تعارفِ آدھی بات

”آدھی بات“ اردو ادب، شعر و سخن اور ہماری فکری روایت کی ترویج و اشاعت کے لیے وقف ایک علمی و ادبی پلیٹ فارم ہے، جس کا قیام 8 جنوری 2018ء کو عمل میں آیا۔ ہمارا بنیادی نصب العین حکیم الامت علامہ محمد اقبالؒ کے آفاقی پیغام اور فکر انگیز کلام کو دنیا بھر کے ڈیجیٹل قارئین اور بالخصوص نئی نسل تک سلیس، دلکش اور شائستہ انداز میں منتقل کرنا ہے۔

نئی نسل اور دورِ حاضر کے قارئین کے لیے کلاسیکی اردو شاعری، بالخصوص کلامِ اقبالؔ کے فارسی آمیز اسلوب کو سمجھنا اکثر مشکل محسوس ہوتا ہے۔ آدھی بات کا مقصد اسی مشکل کو آسان بنانا ہے۔ ہم کلامِ اقبالؔ کو ایک نہایت سلیس اور دلکش انداز میں پیش کرتے ہیں؛ جس میں مستند اردو نستعلیق متن کے ساتھ رومن اردو، رواں انگریزی ترجمہ اور شعر بہ شعر واضح تشریح شامل ہوتی ہے، تاکہ ہر قاری اس عظیم فکری ورثے سے باآسانی جڑ سکے۔

یوٹیوب سے ایک ڈیجیٹل کتب خانے تک

ایک تخلیقی کاوش سے شروع ہونے والا یہ سفر آج ایک متحرک عالمی ادبی حلقے کی صورت اختیار کر چکا ہے۔ اپنے یوٹیوب چینل کے ذریعے ہم ایسی منتخب صوتی و بصری پیشکشیں پیش کرتے ہیں جو دنیا بھر کے لاکھوں سامعین تک پہنچ چُکی ہیں۔ ہماری متعدد ویڈیوز میں برصغیر کے لیجنڈری صداکار ضیاء محی الدین صاحب کی پُرشکوہ آواز شامل ہے، جِنہوں نے کلامِ اقبالؔ کو بے مثال صوتی حسن، نفاست اور جذباتی گہرائی کے ساتھ پیش کِیا ہے۔

یہ ویب سائٹ ہمارے مستقل ڈیجیٹل کتب خانے کی حیثیت رکھتی ہے۔ فی الوقت ہمارا بنیادی محور علامہ اقبال کی شاعری اور افکار ہیں، جہاں ہر تخلیق کو شعر بہ شعر تشریح، الفاظ و معانی کی فرہنگ، اور مستند اساتذہ کی تحقیق کی روشنی میں پیش کیا گیا ہے۔ مستقبل میں آدھی بات کا دائرہ اقبالیات کے علاوہ دیگر اصنافِ ادب، تنقیدی مضامین اور تہذیبی مطالعے تک وُسعت پائے گا، تاکہ یہ جدید دور میں اردو ادب کا ایک پائیدار فکری گہوارہ ثابت ہو۔

AadhiBaat is a dedicated platform for Urdu literature and arts, established on January 8, 2018. Our primary mission is to bring the timeless message and poetry of Allama Iqbal to younger generations and digital audiences around the world.

For many readers today, classical Urdu poetry can feel distant or difficult to approach due to unfamiliar Persianized vocabulary and script barriers. AadhiBaat bridges this gap by presenting Iqbal’s poetry in an accessible, engaging format: authentic Urdu Nastaliq text paired with Roman Urdu transliterations, English translations, and clear line-by-line explanations.

From YouTube to a Digital Library

What began as a creative effort has grown into a vibrant global community. Through our YouTube channel, we share curated recitations and visual presentations that have reached hundreds of thousands of listeners worldwide. Many of our videos feature the legendary, unforgettable voice of Zia Mohyeddin Sahib, bringing Iqbal’s verses to life with unmatched clarity and emotional depth.

This website serves as our permanent digital library. Currently, our focus is centered on the poetry and thought of Allama Iqbal, presenting each piece with detailed verse-by-verse commentary, word-by-word vocabulary tables (Alfaaz-o-Maani), and reflections grounded in authentic scholarship. Looking ahead, AadhiBaat is built to grow beyond this foundation into broader literary arts, essays, and cultural resources, serving as an expanding home for literature in the digital age.
